It's a still-life allegory that plays on associated meanings of colour, where black, white and grey are pitched against a chaotic shot of yellow thread, which entangles this toy zebra
The thread represents an awakening from the dream/nightmare of order and categorization. It breaks up the stillness, wild and unruly, conveying movement and life.
