A New Portrait Story

Introducing the playful and dynamic Cash, who has a passion for sand, sea and mountain biking!

During this commission I worked closely with Cash's family to find the perfect combination of elements that would capture this spirit.

I blocked out the early stages of the painting in acrylics for speed but then moved into oils - my preferred medium- and immersed myself in the glorious sunshine and energy of this happy scene.
